ABOUT HER
Hemera Chen was born in 2000 in China. Raised in the multi-ethnic North West. She travelled across Europe with her family as a teenager and studied at University for the Creative Arts in the UK between 2020-2022.
She began her acting studies in 2017 and in 2018 she attended the Beijing Film Academy (BFA), China's leading film university, where she didn't wanna miss any lectures and was exposed to acting techniques from the UK, USA, Japan and Russia. In 2021 she started acting training at UCA in the UK.
The beginning of thinking of becoming an actor : when she sat in the seat in the screening room, there was no noise from outside, no things to worry about, and the story on the screen was the whole world for those two hours. She completely immerses herself with the character and experiences everything with them. She wants to be that person, to work with the team to present the world that they create, to give the audience touch, joy or energy and reflection.
She believes in hope and possibility, and the possibilities that film, television and the stage hold are bringing her energy.

For language,She is using Mandarin&English, a bit Italian and Japanese. She's able to speak standard Mandarin and several different accents that are Sichuan, Chongqing, Beijing and the northeast accent.
